Wow did I EVER fall off the face of the planet!!!!

Well, not entirely. I just relocated.

I'm back in Long Island, NY, and I've got a lot of work I've been doing.


But enough about that...Let's talk Defencer!!!

YES, the comic is still in the works. HOWEVER, I've revamped all of the main characters in the first book, and I've even switched some characters around, which means, yes, new character art real soon!

I've revamped the entire story as well, and yes, I'm still taking character ideas from those who want to see their character in the story(and yes, this still means that there's no fee of any sorts, but will give written credit to those whom which submitted me a character). Keep in mind however, that not every character will be used in the same chapter/saga/volume/etc. But in any case, those with ideas, can email me at leftstanding81@aol.com

Okay, so my last journal entry about commenting me about your characters:

I forgot to mention that, these characters will make appearances in later sagas of Defencer, NOT the first book. ALSO, this isn't for a profit share; This is mainly for people who normally ask artists to do commission drawings for them, only this is a step further. Their characters will actually be in a manga. I had people ask if I was going to split profit with them and such. There's no profit right now, and I'm actually doing this for people who just love coming up with their own avatar, and would love to see their characters being a huge part of a story that I have high hopes of making successful in the world of Anime/Manga/video Games. HOWEVER, everyone WILL be credited for their character contributions with the utmost appreciation and respect. ^_^


As far as how many characters I'm looking to actually use? The answer is this: I'm going to be taking a specific amount of character contributions for each saga. there's really no set book number to label each saga, so I'll be updating you all about each saga before I work on it. So far, for the first saga, I will happy to take 10 character contributions for the following race(s)under the following condition(s):

Oni-Shigerian (must have a history with ++Fleurha++, and stand in the way of ++Kintei++ as an antagonist OR provide a backstory which leads them within the path of ++Kintei++ and/or ++Fleurha++ as a protagonist)

Machina - (Must prove to be an obstacle against ++Kintei++ as an antagonist OR be of help to ++Kintei++ as a protagonist)

Human(Must have some history with ++Mykelle++ as a neutral, or protagonist OR have a background which leads to serving under the Mezmos in order to help track ++Mykelle++ as an antagonist)

I kept the conditions vague, to provide more freedom with making a backstory. If you choose NOT to provide a backstory, I'll most likely make one for that character. ALSO one more important thing:

- Magic must be labeled as Elemental Reign(i.e. Fire Elemental Reign, Earth-Elemental Reign)

- Those who chooses to make a human, can give that human the skill of Technomancy

- Those who choose to make an Oni-Shigerian, can give that "O-Shi" the skill of Grafting

- Machina are basically cyborgs that look almost exactly like humans, with some exceptions. But they're capable of using Elemental Reign.

Once I receive characters, I'll draw them one by one, and will display them on my DevART page, so stay tuned!

Today(or to be better accurate, tonight), is when the Ultimate Arts Jutsu was born. To make better sense, today's my birthday! I just call myself the Ultimate Arts Jutsu because I've been into Naruto as of late. ^_^

But back on the subject, I am now 28 years of age...Which means in two years time, I will be the big 3-0...Wow...I'm freaking old! Mrs. Ultimate Arts Jutsu is only 21, and she wants to have Ultimate Arts Jutsu, Jr. when she's atleast 22 or 23 the latest. Which is fine by me, because I want a child. I will raise it to become strong enough to grip the world and crush it, and from the remaining sands, build an empire that will make Barack Obama's quest for change seem like a Reading Rainbow segment.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *cough* *hack* *choke!* HAHAHA!


Ahem...Of course I am kidding about all of that, so please people, don't take offense. >_>

Expect more Defencer stuff soon. I've been steadily reinventing my computer to endure rigorous Photoshop work.

And speaking of Defencer, I'm going to eventually need more characters for future plot, SO, I will be making another post about the different races and realms within Defencer, and should anyone like to have like, their Gaia Online Avatar, or themselves in general, immortalized into the story, drop me a note, comment, or email me at: leftstanding81@aol.com

Make sure to have a distinct description, background, some sort of tie-in with the main villain (Valloth, Mezmos Devourer), and their own obstacle or rival(optional). Also, amongst the races that I will post, you are free to pick one of them(especially Grafter, since I don't have many of them lined up).

For all artist, feel free to draw out a description, and I'll have my version of every character up each week.

In the meantime, I'm gonna catch some shut-eye.

With Defencer in the works, I am looking to restart my regime in full force!

okay, so page one of the Defencer Preview is up, and just to let you guys know, this preview is just a sample plot; It's not completely what the plot's going to look like, but will give you an idea on how the comic/manga(comanga?) is driven. There's going to be a lot of stuff going on, and in this preview, it will introduce all the main characters from the first volume.

Remember Naruto Shippuden, and its very first episode? How they previewed the meeting of Naruto and Sasuke since their epic battle? This is what this preview of Defencer is; It's showing you a little bit of the future, before the beginning. So I hope you guys enjoy it!
